Just Pick
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-10-12 · Publisher: ByteLuna Labs · Türkçe
Just Pick suggests places to eat near you. It has no account, shows no ads, and we do not sell personal data. Most of what the app knows stays on your phone.
Location
The app asks for your location to find places near you. Your position is used on your device to search the place data stored there. Your exact location is not sent to us and is not stored by us. You can withdraw the permission at any time in your phone's settings; the app cannot suggest nearby places without it.
Place data downloads
Place data is downloaded as a file for the region you are in (an area roughly 55 by 70 miles) from our file hosting at Cloudflare. That request tells the host which region file was asked for and includes standard request data such as your IP address. We do not link it to you and we keep no record of it ourselves. The list of cities used by "Explore a city" ships inside the app (from GeoNames); searching it sends nothing.
Data stored on your device
Your settings (theme), your last answers, and what you tell the app about places: "been there", your "loved it / meh" answer, places you hid and places you reported as closed, and with Plus your taste profile, favorites and notes. This data never leaves your phone. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes it.
Analytics and crash reports
We use Google Firebase Analytics to learn which parts of the app are used and whether its suggestions are useful. It processes an app-instance identifier, device and app information and usage events, for example "list shown", the cuisine category of a place you opened, its price level and its distance rounded to a tenth of a mile. Events never contain your location, the name or address of a place, or anything you typed. The app does not use the advertising ID.
If the app crashes, Google Firebase Crashlytics sends us a crash report: what went wrong in the code, the device model, the Android and app version and an installation identifier. It contains no location and no place you looked at. We use it only to fix the problem.
Purchases
Just Pick Plus is an optional one-time purchase. It is paid through Google Play; we never see your payment details. RevenueCat, our purchase service, receives an anonymous app user ID and the record of the purchase so that Plus can be restored on a new phone. If you do not buy Plus, no purchase data exists.
Google Maps
"Open in Maps" and "Let's go" open Google Maps with the name and address of the place. From there Google's own privacy policy applies. Just Pick does not use any Google Maps data inside the app.
Feedback
If you e-mail us, we use your address and message only to reply.
Deleting your data
There is no account and no copy of your data on our servers. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. Analytics data is kept by Firebase for its standard retention period and is not linked to your name or e-mail address.
Children
Just Pick is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.

Gizlilik Politikası (Türkçe)
Just Pick yakınındaki yemek mekanlarını önerir.
Google Maps: "Open in Maps" mekanın adı ve adresiyle Google Maps'i açar; orada Google'ın politikası geçerlidir. 13 yaş altına yönelik değildir. İletişim: contact@bytelunalabs.com
