Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of SpeedY — GPS Speedometer & Odometer ("the App"), provided by ByteLuna Labs. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. The service
SpeedY estimates speed, distance and trips using your device’s GPS and shows them on a gauge, digital view and map. It is provided for general, informational and convenience purposes.
2. Not a certified instrument — drive safely
SpeedY is not a legally certified speed-measuring device. GPS readings can be affected by signal quality, weather, buildings and hardware, and may be inaccurate or delayed. Always rely on your vehicle’s speedometer and obey all traffic laws and posted limits. Do not operate the App while driving in a way that distracts you. You are solely responsible for safe and lawful operation of your vehicle.
3. Subscriptions & purchases
SpeedY is free to download and includes optional Premium subscriptions and a one-time purchase that remove ads and unlock premium features. Purchases are processed by Google Play; prices are shown in the App before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in your Google Play account. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies.
4. Advertising
The free version displays third-party ads (Google AdMob). Premium removes ads.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not reverse-engineer, resell, or misuse the App.
- Do not use the App in any unlawful manner or to endanger yourself or others.
6. Intellectual property
The App, its design and content are owned by ByteLuna Labs and protected by law. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal purposes.
7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ByteLuna Labs is not liable for any damages, losses, fines or injuries arising from use of, or reliance on, the App or its readings.
8. Changes & termination
We may update the App or these Terms at any time; the "Last updated" date will change. We may suspend or discontinue the App. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
