These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of StepNest (“the app”), a step-tracking application published by ByteLuna Labs (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
StepNest counts your steps using your phone’s built-in step-counter sensor and provides goals, streaks, statistics, optional online races, and optional premium features. It is a daily-movement and habit tracker. It is not a medical, diagnostic, or fitness-coaching product, and its estimates (distance, calories, active minutes) are approximate and should not be relied on for medical purposes.
StepNest is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). By using the app you confirm you meet this requirement.
You can use core features without an account. Optional social features (global races, friend rooms, leaderboards) may sign you in anonymously or, if you choose, with your Google account. You are responsible for the display name and any photo you choose to use, and you agree not to upload content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes others’ rights.
Online races rely on the integrity of submitted step data. You agree not to manipulate, spoof, or artificially inflate step counts, or otherwise interfere with the leaderboards. We may remove entries, reset scores, or restrict access to social features where we detect abuse.
StepNest offers an optional one-time “Lifetime” unlock and optional monthly/yearly subscriptions for premium features. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing and managed via RevenueCat. Prices, billing periods, and renewal terms are shown at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your Google Play account. Refunds are handled according to Google Play’s policies.
We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time. We aim to keep core tracking features available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ByteLuna Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Your use of StepNest is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data the app handles and why.
We may update these Terms; the “Last updated” date above will change accordingly. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
